Mother's Day

HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!

15 months ago I had the honor and privilege of becoming a mom! To my first child, I carried you in my heart and there you shall always remain. To my second child, I carried you in my womb, but you to will always be in my heart! I never realized how one small heartbeat could change your life the way that it does. I thank God that I have two heartbeats to share my life with. They are my world and I hope that I can make their world a better place!

To our Birthmother and her husband, THANK YOU!!!! It takes the true love of a mother to do what you did and we will forever be grateful to you! Not only am I proud/happy to have you as Wyatt’s Birthmother but I am thrilled to call y’all friends! Y’all hold such a special place in our hearts! Congratulations on baby Trace, he is GOREGOUS!! What a wonderful Mother’s Day gift! We love y’all!

To my very sweet friend who allowed God to use her for his glory, THANK YOU! I know that you have no clue just how much of a role you had in us getting Gracelyn, but let me assure you it was a HUGE role. Your sweet words were the confirmation and answers to the prayers that we had been praying so hard about. It was your words that ultimately Okayed IVF for us.  So thank you for your kind words that led us to Gracie.

To my mother, Step mom, Mother in Law, Nanny, Mamaw Ruth, Maw Maw and Aunt Rachel, THANK YOU! You each played a tremendous role in the makings of the wife/woman/mother that I am today, and for that I thank you! I look up to each of you in so many ways! I am thrilled that my children will have y’all in their lives as well. To my mom and my mother in law, thank y’all for being some of my very best friends. I am thrilled that y’all are the ones that my babies will be calling Gimme and Grammy! I only wish we were there to share this day with y’all!

To my best friend in the world, thank you for being you. Thank you for holding me accountable for so many things through the year. Thank you for being my shoulder to cry on, my sounding board for finding sanity when I would feel like I was losing it. Thank you for shedding tears with me when my heart was broken, thank you for picking up my pieces when they fell apart and helping me put them all back together! Thank you for ditching work, to come to the hospital to help deliver Gracie! That is a memory we will always share and I thank God and Dr Wilson that they allowed it to happen. That will be one of the most memorable moments in our friendship!

To my sister in laws, I love you each so very much! Thank you for allowing me to be an Aunt! I love my nieces and nephews, the ones that I have and the ones that I will be getting! Thank you also for being someone I can look up to as a mother and a friend I can call to ask motherly questions!  In the last 15 months my life has change SO much. I have realized that family really is the most important thing we have here on earth! You only get one, and you don’t get to choose it. God chose it for us, and through the good and bad we still have to learn to deal with it. As long as there is a tomorrow, then there is time to start a new or make new memories. Working off on the road has its biggest down fall in this area. It takes away that time to bond and create new memories for me. Although I can’t be there I have every one of yall in my heart and a lot of days on my mind!

To my husband, I LOVE YOU!!! Thank you for making ALL of my dreams come true! I admire you for being a God fearing man and already instilling this in our children. I couldn’t be who I am or do what I do without you! I thank you for allowing me to be a stay at home mother and raise these children that God has loaned us! Thank you for my Mother’s Day gift! You (well someone, lol) did WONDERFUL! I love it! I will cherish it forever!! I love you!

To all of the ladies that I am helping /talking to or will be helping/talking to, my prayer for you is that God will bless you to. I know your pain, your struggles and the strength it takes to make it through. Hold your heads up high, never let the enemy defeat you! When your dreams do come true you will look back and know that every single tear and heart ache was worth it!

To all of the other mother’s, Happy Mother’s Day! I hope that your life and day is just as blessed as mine. We aren’t every guaranteed tomorrow, so never let today pass by you without saying I love you and thanks to those who have made you who you are!
